You will responsible for preparing meals according to Chipotle’s recipes and standards. This role demands precision and speed in cooking and assembling dishes while maintaining kitchen safety and cleanliness.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Prep Cook:

• Prepare the food items for cooking by washing, chopping, marinating, and grilling in the desired way.
• Cook and assemble dishes within set time frames, ensuring each order is executed consistently and according to standards.
• Responsibly operate and manage different kitchen devices.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas dedicated to food preparation and cooking.
• - Stay vigilant about inventory quantities and relay any needs to the kitchen manager in a timely manner.
• Partner with team members to upgrade food quality and service standards.

Qualifications and Experience of Prep Cook:

• Confirmed expertise as a cook in a dynamic environment; experience in fast casual or restaurant environments is a bonus.
• Comprehension of the rules concerning health and safety is fundamental in promoting a secure kitchen setting.
• Skillful handling of knives and kitchen tools to manipulate ingredients and prepare dishes.
• A collaborative individual with strong communication abilities.

• A high school diploma or its equal is a prerequisite, and holding a certification from a culinary school can be advantageous.
