Job Summary of Line Supervisor:

A critical aspect of this position is to oversee the quality and safety of the food cooked at Chipotle, involving tasks like grilling proteins, stir-frying vegetables, purchasing ingredients, mentoring potential managers, and upholding cleanliness in the kitchen. Your role is essential in promoting teamwork and maintaining the highest standards for food preparation and customer satisfaction.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Line Supervisor:

• Assure food quality through the precise cooking and preparation of meals according to order specifics and kitchen guidelines.
• Monitor food waste and inventory amounts, dealing with any food quality concerns that may arise.
• Develop a collaborative team atmosphere between the kitchen and serving personnel.
• Facilitate the advancement of team members to assume kitchen leadership roles.
• Establish strong communication channels with both Crew members and customers to uphold high-quality service and enhance overall performance.
• Ensure the kitchen area is kept spotless and sanitized.
• Check on kitchen appliances to ensure they are well-kept and promptly repaired if any issues arise.
• Ensure the enforcement of safety protocols to foster a secure atmosphere and minimize accidents.
• Properly document Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and maintain Inventory Rotation using the FIFO system as stipulated.

Qualifications and Experience of Line Supervisor:

• Competence in articulating Chipotle's emphasis on Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Capability to speak fluently in the primary language(s) of the workplace.
• Possessing a high school diploma or its equal is compulsory.
• Candidates with a history of working in the restaurant sector are preferred.
