Job Duties and Responsibilities of Kitchen Supervisor:
- Maintain food standards by preparing and cooking meals according to specific customer requests and kitchen protocols.
- Keep track of food wastage and stock quantities, addressing any concerns regarding food quality when necessary.
- Cultivate a robust team synergy among the back-of-house and front-of-house staff.
- Cultivate team members to progress into leadership roles within the kitchen.
- Maintain clear and efficient communication with both Crew members and customers to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and hygienic at all times.
- Supervise kitchen appliances to guarantee they are well-maintained and promptly fixed if any issues arise.
- It is important to adhere to all safety protocols to mitigate the risk of injuries and mishaps.
- Ensure that Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are fully filled out and Inventory Rotation is carried out according to the First In, First Out (FIFO) method as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience of Kitchen Supervisor:
- Demonstrating proficiency in comprehending and expressing Chipotle's commitment to Food With Integrity principles.
- Proficiency in the main language(s) spoken in the workplace area.
- Having a high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
- Prior background in the restaurant industry is desirable.
