Job Duties and Responsibilities of Kitchen Operations Lead:

• Maintain the quality of food by cooking and prepping meals to order, observing kitchen protocols.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels closely, taking action to resolve any food quality issues that arise.
• Establish a unified team culture between the kitchen and waitstaff members.
• Assist in the transformation of crew members into upcoming kitchen leaders.
• Maintain strong communication links with both Crew members and clients to uphold exceptional customer service and streamline operational processes.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
• Check on kitchen appliances to ensure they are well-kept and promptly repaired if any issues arise.
• Adherence to safety guidelines is imperative to safeguard against injuries and unexpected incidents.
• Make sure to meet requirements by filling out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) completely and conducting Inventory Rotation following the FIFO approach.

Qualifications and Experience of Kitchen Operations Lead:

• Proficiency in grasping and communicating Chipotle's ethos of prioritizing Food With Integrity.
• Fluent in the primary languages utilized in the work environment.
• A high school diploma or a comparable credential is a prerequisite.
• Previous familiarity with working in restaurants is ideal.
