Job Summary of Food Server:
Maintaining the hygienic standards and operational effectiveness of the kitchen is pivotal in this position. The role requires keeping all kitchen tools, dishes, and equipment clean, systematically arranged, and always ready for use.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Food Server:
- Ensure the proper sterilization of dishes and cookware through the efficient operation of dishwashers.
- Use manual washing for certain objects such as wooden utensils and oversized pots.
- Regularly clean and maintain the dishwasher area to prevent any build-up of dirt or debris.
- Check the performance of cleaning equipment and dishwashers to validate their efficiency and report any operational issues.
- Offer aid with food readiness as necessary.
- Place clean dishes in their designated storage spaces after washing.
Qualifications and Experience of Food Server:
- Prior experience is not necessary as training will be given while working.
- Capability to remain upright for extended durations and manage weighty equipment.
- Showing a high level of thoroughness and an inclination towards tidiness.
- Proficiency in engaging and working jointly with the rest of the kitchen colleagues.
- Awareness of sanitation and safety rules is necessary.
